For Universities

Specialist Education works collaboratively with universities and colleges to support students who experience barriers to learning and academic engagement.

Our role is to provide structured, individualised support that complements existing institutional services and helps students develop the strategies needed to participate more effectively in their studies.

Support is professional, non-clinical, and designed to align with the policies and safeguarding frameworks of higher education institutions.

How we work with institutions

Specialist Education provides structured 1:1 support that complements institutional provision. We recognise the close relationship between learning, wellbeing, and academic engagement while maintaining clear professional boundaries.

Support focuses on helping students develop practical strategies that enable them to manage the academic demands of higher education and engage more confidently with their studies.

We work collaboratively with institutions and respect existing support services, policies, and safeguarding frameworks.
